Our biennial fundraising event is dedicated to rewriting the future for those who need it most. You will see and hear how Tried & True Parenting intersects family stories - where heartache meets hope, isolation meets community, and parents and children find their way again. We will share powerful stories of resilience, celebrate our collective impact, and raise critical funds to support our mission.
Series Spotlight:
Deep Connections at H.O.P.E.-full Pastures
We are bursting with gratitude over the incredible impact of our recent TBRI class at H.O.P.E.-full Pastures. Here is a glimpse of what happened over the 8 weeks:
40 Lives Impacted: We served 13 parents and 27 amazing kiddos.
Beautiful Diversity: The room represented a rich tapestry of families, including blended, kinship, biological, foster, adoptive, and families on track to reunify.
Lasting Fellowship: The class connected so deeply and vulnerably around parenting that they have already scheduled their own reunion a month from now!
Seeing TBRI meet each family right where they were was a true highlight for us. This group perfectly achieved our primary goal—equipping families and fostering a fellowship that reminds them they are not alone in this fight. Here is what one parent in the class had to say about their experience:
"T&T impacted my family by being a life-line. There is no way our family could have maintained placement with our 5 year old who came to us with early childhood trauma, severe behaviors, not potty trained, and ongoing outbursts. We have learned as a family how to connect before correcting, how to prevent behavior by ensuring she has all of her basic needs met, how to utilize the engagement strategies, the importance of understanding attachment style and putting rituals in place, felt-safety, using strong girl voice, following a script, the importance of shared-power, and how to offer a compromise. T&T has given me hope because this team is here to listen, ensure I feel equipped as a parent, and truly helped me realize that our children need to feel heard, seen, loved, accepted, and valued. We, as caregivers, need this as well. THANK YOU, T&T!"
Alumni Connect Events:
Parenting in a Tech World 2.0 📱 April 2026
Daniel McKee returned to share all new content with our Alumni! We learned:
Why engaging our child's heart matters more than just setting tech rules.
How to gradually increase digital privileges as kids earn our trust.
The top AI risks every caregiver needs to know.
Tech changes quickly in our world so it was a treat to have Daniel back to keep us pacing with what our kiddos are experiencing!
Art in the Park 🎨 June 2026
20 families attended! Kids made slime, beaded bracelets, and painted rocks all while we visited and enjoyed a meal together. Reconnecting with our alumni and staying involved in their parenting journeys is exactly why we love hosting these events!
"I loved collecting the stamps for doing all the stations! The rock paintingstation was my kids’ favorite." ~T&T Alumni
Our 6th Annual T&T Golf Outing was a success!
Our Golf Fundraiser raised nearly $19,000 to directly impact local families! Thank you to everyone who stepped up to the tee to support our mission. Your incredible generosity ensures we can continue providing essential parenting resources and opportunities for connection for our alumni network. Next year's golf outing will be on Sunday, June 6th, 2027. Save the date!
New Office Space!
“The earth is the LORD’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” - Psalm 24:1
We have received the gift of a new office space because of T&T friends who chose to live out this scripture. They understand what it means to hold everything with an open hand and give out of their love and affection for the Lord. If they had their way, they would choose to fly under the radar. But that quiet, humble generosity is a beautiful testament to how God works, and it simply deserves to be acknowledged with gratitude. We thank God for the Griffor and Guckenberger families! Stop by and see us when you're in Mason!
Your generous giving enables this work and allows us to offer hope to families! Thank you!
